While "no one size fits all" is a sound philosophy for system designers to follow, it presents challenges for application developers. \nIt can be hard for application developer to pick one system when the needs of the application seem to match the features of multiple systems. The choice becomes considerably harder when different components of an application fit the features of different systems. \nThis presentation will focus on recognizing how the DNA behind each database is the key to determining the best architecture for specific applications.
