In this presentation, we will discuss the big data / fast gap. There are solutions for analyzing big data, and there are solutions for processing real time streams. However, they do not meet the requirements of transactional applications. The goal of this presentation is to highlight a number of architectures that enable organizations to bridge the gap between these two very different solutions while satisfying the requirements of transactional applications. These architectures rely on integrating big data platforms and stream processing platforms with a scalable, high performance NoSQL database.
The architectures highlighted will include components such as: - Big Data with Apache Hadoop
- NoSQL Integration with Apache Sqoop
- Stream Processing with Apache Storm
- NoSQL Integration with Apache Storm
